For more than two decades, Darcy Linn been a successful businesswomen, having worked her way up the ranks in corporate finance for Fortune 500 organizations such as The Gap, Discovery Channel and Federated Department Stores. Her experience also include sales, marketing and information systems.
A lifelong Republican and one of the Bay Area’s most active Republican leaders, Darcy has been instrumental in numerous political campaigns, having served the 2000 Bush-Cheney Presidential campaign, the Simon for Governor campaign in 2002 as Bay Area Event Chair, as San Francisco County Co-Chair for Bush-Cheney 2004, as Contra Costa County Special Elections Chair in 2005, as Bay Area Regional Chair for Rudy Giuliani, and as Contra Costa Women for McCain Chair.
Often a media spokesperson for the Republican Party on women’s issues, Darcy has served for years on the board of the San Francisco County Republican Women’s Federated and the California Women's Association. In 2004, Darcy was elected president of the San Francisco County Republican Women’s Federated; she was re-elected to the post in 2005. In 2007, she was elected president of the California Women’s Leadership Association’s Bay Area chapter and continues to serve in that capacity.
Darcy earned her Bachelor of Arts degree in history from the University of California, Los Angeles. In her spare time, she is an avid reader, runs marathons and enjoys golf.
