Mindy Fletcher is a veteran of Republican political campaigns at the national and state level. She has served as spokeswoman for Governor George W. Bush for the Bush 2000 and 2004 presidential campaigns, for U.S. Attorney General John Ashcroft, for the Republican National Committee, and for the National Republican Congressional Committee. She was also Deputy Chief of Staff and Deputy Campaign Manager for Governor Arnold Schwarzenegger. Mindy is currently a senior advisor for Ogilvy Public Relations Worldwide.
Mindy has been a leading force in helping women become more active in the political process. She is the former president of the Marian Bergeson Series for Excellence in Public Service, a leadership-training program for women in public service, and of the San Diego chapter of the California Women’s Leadership Association.
A voice for her generation of career women, Mindy is working on a book about the realities facing women who want it all. She is hoping her story will enlighten and equip the next generation of amazing women as they set out to conquer the world.
Mindy resides in San Diego with her husband, California Assemblyman Nathan Fletcher, and their son, Zach. Mindy is a passionate advocate for adoption and foster children and supports several foster care nonprofit organizations; she also sits on the board of the Angels Foster Family Network.
