SAN LUIS OBISPO, CA – U.S. Senate candidate Carly Fiorina today joined campaign volunteers for a phone bank at Ronca Law Offices in San Luis Obispo to call voters and ask them to support her campaign to end Barbara Boxer’s failed tenure in Washington.
“Over the course of this campaign, we’ve grown a strong network of volunteers and grassroots supporters who are working hard to spread our message and turn out voters at the polls on Tuesday. Californians are tired of Barbara Boxer’s refusal to stand up and fight for the needs of our state. Twenty-eight years of failed representation is enough. We must fire Barbara Boxer in November, and I am the only candidate in this race positioned to do so,” said Fiorina. “With only two days left until Election Day, I am asking the people of California to take a step toward that goal by voting for me. I am grateful for everyone who has dedicated time to this campaign. Together, we will continue to build momentum and get out the vote for my candidacy as Election Day approaches.”
Thousands of dedicated Californians have joined Fiorina’s team and have been working daily to contact voters asking them to support her at the polls. To date, the team has made thousands of calls to Republican voters through on-site phone banks like the ones taking place this weekend, virtual phone banks facilitated through a state-of-the-art Web-based system called “Carly’s Campaign Center,” the campaign’s groundbreaking mobile phone banking feature, community events and many other avenues.
Between today and when the polls close on June 8, volunteers will be calling voters from their homes, from their cell phones and from phone banks around the state, including in Fresno, San Diego, Riverside and Long Beach. Later this afternoon, Fiorina will join campaign volunteers at a phone bank in Montecito.
