SACRAMENTO, CA – U.S. Senate candidate Carly Fiorina today earned the endorsement of the California Pro-Life Council (CPLC), the California affiliate of the National Right to Life Committee.
“Our Board has carefully looked at all the candidates involved,” said CPLC Executive Director Brian Johnston. “Carly Fiorina is clearly the only pro-life candidate who can beat both Tom Campbell and Barbara Boxer. She is 100 percent pro-life, she understands the tragedy that abortion brings into peoples’ lives and she is committed to working for policies that will restore legal consideration for the innocent and vulnerable. California Pro-Life is proud to endorse Carly Fiorina for U.S. Senate.”
CPLC is a nonprofit, nonpartisan grassroots organization dedicated to educating Californians about basic pro-life issues, encouraging legislators to enact laws that protect life and replacing pro-choice incumbents with pro-life public officials. Established in 1971, CPLC’s primary goal is to restore respect for human life to public policy.
“CPLC has a long history of defending the sanctity of life, and I am thankful to have the support of the organization behind my campaign,” added Fiorina. “With their help, I am confident that Californians will together fire Barbara Boxer this November and send new, conservative leadership to Washington.”
This endorsement comes as support from conservatives continues to build around Fiorina’s candidacy. Last week, the Susan B. Anthony List, a national pro-life political action committee, endorsed Fiorina’s campaign for U.S. Senate.
