California Farm Bureau Endorses Carly
April 7, 2010

It was a beautiful, sunny day in California’s Central Valley and Central Coast as Carly traveled from farm to farm receiving the endorsement of the California Farm Bureau.

We started in Bakersfield [1] at Kirschenmann Brothers Farms where we were joined by Farm Bureau President Paul Wenger and Kern County Farm Bureau Second Vice President Greg Wegis.

We then moved to Fresno [2] to P-R Farms where owner Pat Ricchiuti gave us a warm welcome and Carly was endorsed by Congressman Nunes and Clovis City Councilman Nathan Masigg.

From there we headed to Salinas [3] to Christensen and Giannini Farms where we were joined by Kevin Kester, our statewide Agriculture Coalition Chair and Monterey County Farm Bureau President Dirk Giannini.

Finally we capped an incredible day at Duarte Farms in Modesto [4] where we were graciously hosted by Duarte Nursery President John Duarte.

Carly said, “Today was an incredible day and I’m grateful and humbled to have the support of the California Farm Bureau Federation and its members. I look forward to having the opportunity to serve as their advocate in Washington as a member of the U.S. Senate.”
