RIVERSIDE, CA – At a meeting of the Riverside Republican Assembly today, U.S. Senate candidate Carly Fiorina discussed job creation and reducing federal spending as well as the failure of Senator Boxer to represent the interests of the people of California over the last 18 years.
“As a U.S. Senator, my top priorities will be creating jobs, growing the economy and making the tough decisions necessary to control our skyrocketing national debt,” said Fiorina. “I am the only candidate with real-world business experience, who has had to balance a budget and make payroll at the end of the month.”
Since declaring her candidacy for U.S. Senate, Fiorina has traveled the state to talk to Californians about their concerns for the future and how to fix the problems facing the state and the nation. In recent weeks, Fiorina has made stops in Santa Clara, Fontana, San Francisco and Orange County.
“Sadly over the past 18 years, Barbara Boxer has become a product of Washington and forgotten the people she was elected to represent. She has instead put the wants of environmental extremists, big labor and other special interests over the needs of Californians,” Fiorina added. “Barbara Boxer is a failed senator. Together we can beat her.”
The Riverside Republican Assembly is a unit of the California Republican Assembly (CRA). Incorporated in 1935 in reaction to the massive expansion of government of the New Deal, the CRA is a grassroots organization that advocates for conservative principles. Since then, the CRA has been a champion in advocating for limited government, a strong national defense, and the protecting the sanctity of life.
