Re-Launches www.CallMeBarbara.com with New Look, More Content
SACRAMENTO, CA – U.S. Senate candidate Carly Fiorina today issued the following statement welcoming Barbara Boxer officially into the race of her career and vowing to hold her accountable for her failed record in the U.S. Senate:
“I would like to welcome Barbara Boxer to what will be the race of her long career as a politician. For the last 18 years, she has failed Californians, and it is clear the people of our great state are ready for a real change. Without a doubt, she will work to dupe voters into believing she has been an effective advocate for California – just as she has done in her previous three campaigns. She will not be able to get away with that this time. I will hold Barbara Boxer accountable for her failed record.
“We need look no further than the news today that jobless claims rose another 31,000 last week for evidence of the abject failure of Boxer’s dependence on a policy of tax, spend, borrow and regulate. She has become a Washington insider and has forgotten the people she is supposed to represent. I am running for Senate because the decisions made in Washington impact every business and every family in America. As the only candidate in the race who comes from the real world, it is my commitment to the people of California that as their Senator I will never forget that representing them is my first responsibility.”
In conjunction with Boxer’s formal entrance into the race, the Web site http://www.CallMeBarbara.com also re-launched today with an updated design and more robust content detailing the many failures of Barbara Boxer as a U.S. Senator. This Web site was first launched in November 2009, and it will continue to be a resource throughout the campaign for Californians interested in learning the truth about Barbara Boxer’s record.
