Also Meets With Fresno County Republican Party Volunteers and Activists
CLOVIS, CA – U.S. Senate candidate Carly Fiorina today led a roundtable discussion at CargoBay Self Storage in Clovis to discuss the challenges facing Valley companies and solutions to help create jobs and revitalize the local economy.
“The Central Valley is the heart and soul of so much of California’s history and culture. As the center of our state’s ranching and farming industries, it’s critically important that we work together to ensure this region can thrive and flourish,” said Fiorina. “This is especially important when it comes to creating jobs and growing our economy. Now, more than ever, we must support the Valley’s job creators through lower taxes and fewer burdensome regulations.”
Fiorina visited Fresno in November when she announced her candidacy for U.S. Senate. During that visit, she discussed the importance of a comprehensive water package. Fiorina has consistently urged Barbara Boxer to take swift action to protect the Valley’s businesses and communities by delivering much-needed water to the region.
“Having been in Washington for far too long, Barbara Boxer has forgotten the people she was elected to represent. Instead, she puts the policy platforms of big labor, environmental extremists and other special interests ahead of her own constituents,” Fiorina continued. “As a U.S. Senator, I will always put the needs of my fellow Californians first. I will do everything possible to ensure that our golden state – and especially the Valley – has the representation in Washington it deserves.”
Following the roundtable, Fiorina will meet with grassroots volunteers and activists at the Fresno County Republican Party headquarters to discuss her candidacy for U.S. Senate and her priorities for California.
