NOVATO, CA – U.S. Senate candidate Carly Fiorina today delivered remarks at the Marin County Republican Party’s Lincoln Day dinner about the importance of the Party of Lincoln and the legacy he left for future generations:
“Today, we celebrate the birth of President Abraham Lincoln whose uncommon leadership carried our nation through great division and upheaval. His commitment to the fundamental principles of equality and freedom on which our country was built made the American Dream accessible for future generations,” said Fiorina. “As leaders and as members of the Party of Lincoln, we must continue his legacy by defending and protecting that American Dream.”
Fiorina today also participated in the Silicon Valley Leadership Group’s first annual Women and Girls Leadership Summit at the Peter Burnett Academy in San Jose. The event’s purpose was to connect Bay Area women executives with middle-school girls. During her remarks and in the panel discussion, Fiorina discussed her background and her rise to become the first and, to date, the only woman to lead a Fortune 20 company.
This morning, Fiorina participated in the Women Impacting Public Policy speaker series, where she discussed the importance of women and small businesses in supporting and growing the American Dream.
