Carly Fiorina Discusses Economic Recovery and Controlling Government Spending at CFRW Conference
February 7, 2010

WESTLAKE VILLAGE, CA – U.S. Senate candidate Carly Fiorina today spoke to grassroots Republicans at the California Federation of Republican Women (CFRW) Winter Conference in Westlake Village about the urgent need to rein in government spending, encourage innovation and reenergize the economy.

“Californians deserve a representative in Washington who will fight for them and champion policies that will create jobs, grow the economy and rein in federal spending. Over the last 18 years, Barbara Boxer has done the exact opposite, and it’s time for new representation for California,” said Fiorina to the crowd. “As a U.S. Senator, I would make it my priority to push for policies that will support our nation’s job creators, get credit flowing again and bring fiscal responsibility back to Washington.”

Since the first day of her candidacy for U.S. Senate [1], Fiorina has focused on job creation, economic growth and containing exploding federal spending – the issues most important to Californians. Since November, her campaign has taken her to such cities as Santa Ana [2], Pleasanton [3], San Diego [4], Modesto [5], Salinas [6], Oakland [7] and San Luis Obispo [8].
