Carly Fiorina Delivers Remarks At Conejo Valley Republican Women Federated Candidates Forum
January 15, 2010

Thousand Oaks, CA – U.S. Senate candidate Carly Fiorina today addressed Republican voters at the Conejo Valley Republican Women Federated Candidates Forum, where she discussed her background and shared her priorities for California: creating jobs, jump-starting the economy and reining in out-of-control federal spending.

“There is no question that Barbara Boxer has failed the people of California with her tax-and-spend philosophy, which has overburdened our economy, cost jobs and done nothing to improve the quality of life for the people of this state,” said Fiorina. “As a U.S. Senator, my first priority will always be doing what is best for California. I will focus on job creation, rooting out wasteful government spending and getting control of our completely out-of-control federal budget deficit.”

Since announcing her candidacy [1] for U.S. Senate in November, Fiorina has traveled across the state to talk with Californians about the challenges facing their businesses, families and communities. In just the last week, she has met with business, political and community leaders in Modesto [2], San Diego [3] and on the Central Coast [4] to discuss solutions to our state’s most pressing issues.

“As the only non-career politician in the race, building a strong, diverse and active grassroots network is the key to winning both the primary and the general elections. I am honored to be here today with the women and men who represent the heart and soul of the Republican Party, and I value their input and support as this campaign moves forward,” added Fiorina.
